IFLA Europe is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Youth Competition: “New Urban Landscapes”
This year's competition attracted 24 outstanding submissions from talented landscape architecture students and young professionals across Europe, all envisioning more inclusive, resilient, and forward-thinking urban environments.
The competition celebrated bold ideas and real-world solutions addressing:

Category A – Conceptual Ideas and Projects
Winner: Fengyi Wu, member of Landscape Institute UK, with entry "Urban Living Library – Reclaiming The Hedgehog Habitat"
2nd place shared between:
• Katarzyna Jamioł, member of Stowarzyszenie Architektury Krajobrazu (SAK) Poland) with entry "Nature’s Sanctuary"
