Open competition for young professionals and students in landscape architecture

The Peter Joseph Lenné Prize of the State of Berlin is designed for young professionals and students, with a specific focus on those under 35 years of age.

It is considered the world's largest ideas competition for young creative people in the fields of landscape architecture, open space planning, and urban design.

The State of Berlin has just announced the Peter Joseph Lenné Prize 2026 which seeks interesting ideas for tasks in:
• Berlin
• Freiburg
• Prague

Important dates

The deadline for submission is June 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM
The jury will meet on July 30th and 31st, 2026
The ceremony and award presentation will take place on October 9, 2026 at the Academy of Arts on Hanseatenweg.
