Irish Landscape Institute President 2025/26
It is an honour to accept the position of President of the Irish Landscape Institute. Working alongside an engaged, intelligent, and energetic council, this forthcoming year presents an exciting opportunity to build on much of the great work accomplished by the Institute's rich legacy of leadership, guidance, and representation across the island of Ireland.
Through ongoing challenges related to climate change, environmental degradation, international conflict, and great political uncertainty, there has never been a more pressing time for those working across the design and construction sector to collaborate in delivering a more livable and sustainable future. It is an exciting time for the ILI: as an active member of IFLA Europe, the Institute continues to work closely alongside its international counterparts to maintain strong working relationships across a global field of experts - while further enhancing professional, academic, governmental, and individual relationships here at home.
This year's elected Council will continue to work on behalf of its members to further enhance the profession's excellent standing and the Institute's contribution to the built and natural environments for years to come, and I very much look forward to it.
