Reinstatement of an ILI Professional Member 2024
The Irish Landscape Institute has maintained very competitive fees over the years compared to other professional institutions in Ireland and also in comparison to the Landscape Institute UK. The ILI relies heavily on subscriptions to provide services and support to members and to the Landscape Architecture profession in Ireland.
As an Institute we have reinvigorated our CPD training programme and it is our hope that each local council, private practice and individual member will see the benefits of this continued training, along with the recognition provided by our Biennial Design Awards, the dissemination of relevant news and updates plus networking opportunities at our face-to-face events.
The Articles of Association makes provision for lapsed members stipulating that 50% of the annual subscription plus the current years fee would reinstate professional membership status as follows:

Motion 2: PASSED
Reinstatement of Members lapsed of 1 year or less:
‘A Member who has lapsed for only one year can re-join the ILI immediately, at no additional cost to the Member. This debt of one year is recorded, and must be re-paid to the ILI should they ever apply for Fellow status.’
Motion 3: PASSED
Reinstatement of Members lapsed of more than 1 year and less than 5 years:
‘A member who has lapsed for more than one year, can re-join the ILI immediately, provided that they pay a re-joining fee which will be set at 50% of the current annual subscription for their status of membership. Arrears owing are still liable for payment in order to obtain Fellow status and may be paid on a gradual basis, subject to agreement with the ILI. The re-joining fee will not, in any circumstances, be waived or reduced for any individual.’
Cost of ILI Professional Membership for 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 €195, plus 50% of the current fee €97.50. Total charge €292.50
